Something just happened at home and its really affecting that's its bringing me to tearsm
I really hope that she hadn't done those things. I really hope its not her.
You have became a part of this family, and I would HATE to see you leave.
There's so much u have done for us.
We try to helped u as much as we could, but why?
I hope things could be handled in differently. Its really painful.
I thought I knew you, and we trusted you..
I hope things didn't have to turn out this way
yo!
I've been back home in sizzling hot Spore for 5 days now. (blogger only allowed me to post it now!)
The whole boston experience is still fresh in my head, and I want it to stay that way! I don't wish for any part of it to diminish from my tiny memory box, because I feel the experience in Boston really made me grow. Seriously, i feel i have grown up! Though we had so much fun but we never forget our responsibilities there as students, i felt there were SO much to learn everyday! It had really been an insightful experience and great resource for me- from the lectures, the lecturers, the site visits, the guest speakers, classmates and WHEELOCK itself. I want to hold dearly what i have gained to make a difference in the early childhood field. (i feel i'm speaking like some superhero) But seriously, i feel the 63 of us will be equipped to IMPACT the ECH field. :)
Also through this summer immersion program, great friendships been made and old bonds strengthen! Lots of laughter, tears and frustration shared. I am deeply thankful for my friends, especially the snail sisters, they taught me so much! (though not sure if they'll read this)
To ama,

you taught me patience. and i enjoyed bickering with you. teehee..
To syaf,
you taught me to be courageous! thanks for always encouraging me and also ahem laughing at me.
To shron,

you taught me to me real, to be myself!
To yvette,
you taught me to be kind and gentle. HAHA! I enjoyed chionging around museums with you to make sure we look at every corner of them, and the wendy's moment!
To yien, my dearest roommate
you taught me to be bold and to love others, to put others before self. THANKS for always encouraging me in ways you best know how. And CONGRATULATIONS (again) on being president! HAHA! You made it by bringing us back to Spore successfully, now you are IN for even GREATER things! but fret not, the 62 of us are ALL behind you. :)
THANKS girls for making my Boston experience such an unforgettable one! I FELIX y'all!
Also, I wanna thank God for my parents!
I feel so blessed for such a generous and capable dad, that i need not have to worry about a thing when I'm there. :)
And my ever so 'supportive' mum! She seemed to love me more after i'm back, must be the coach bags! :p
And not forgetting my dearest boyfriend!

Thank you for your love and support! :)
Last but the the least! Through these 5 weeks, God really revealed himself to me in gentle and small little ways to let me know he's there! That he cares and he's watching over me. Indeed, I am thankful for your presence, your grace, your love and your protection. :)
This journey had made me humble, wiser, excited and WANTING BACK FOR MORE! seriously I miss life in BOSTON!
Well, its back to reality and we're going back in 5 years! :)
Cheers! :)
It has been the most exciting weekend!!
long and shiok! haha
Boston day 18, 5 July 09
Because of last night's "hangover" from the overwhelming firework display at the hatch. Most of the snails slept in and missed breakfast except for Super En.
Most of the people when to Wrentham (factory outlet) today, there were some of us that didn't go. like us. :)
We set off at about 11am to Quincy market.
saw some new england troupe 's marching performance

Bought the blue man group tickets and had our lunch at Wagamama!
After that we headed to the Aquarium! It was near the harbor, the weather was pretty and the sea breeze was shiok! i enoyed looking at the different type of sail boats and ships!

NICEE!
The aquarium was fun! But i thought it is comparable to Singapore's one.
shot with a turtle mascot outside the aquarium
seal with a deep male voice
penguins!
tigerfish is it? cant rmber..
jellyfish
a 70 + year old turtle

enjoying the the sea breeze

After the aquarium we left for park street.
Had dinner at mac (ya i know, BORING! but its affordable and suits all of us)
then, headed to charles playhouse to catch the blue man group!

it was sooooooooooooo soooooooooooooooooooo GOOD!! i TOTALLY enjoyed myself!
I'm not sure what kind of performance its called. it wasn't a play or a musical. it had stomp and different comical scenes... it was just SUPERB LA!
i was sitting beside yien and she was so HIGH! she kept screaming throughout the entire time la. it really worth every cent! :):):)
i don have any pic of the performance cuz they didn't allowed photos in the theatre. just these...

Boston day 17, 4 July 09
its INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!! woohooo!!!
everywhere was so crowded with people, HAPPY people!
its such a great weather!
police bikes n standby
their "trend" for their national day here was that people will all gather at the hatch to watch firework displays at night and with some concert going on.

its like a big field area facing the sea and there will be food stalls set up around. people would go there as as early as a day before to "chop" a good place to sit.
yesterday by the time we reached there about 4pm, it was already PACKED! madness!! it was filled with people. the crowd was never ending!
people were just sitting around..
we stayed there and we picnic, chit chat and played games

and waited till about 1040pm for the fireworks!the fireworks lasted for about 20mins can!

it was a magnificant sight at first until particals from the fireworks started to fall from the sky and when into some of our eyes. -__-"
anyhow,to me it was a really great experience, soaking into their culture and having a rocking good time under the cold COLD weather! thank God it didn't rain yesterday! :)
I wished you were there with me. IMY! :)
Boston day 16, 3 July 09

skywalk observatory
52 levels high
this is one of the best shot (more in FB), FENWAY PARK (where baseball matches are held)

took this while we were there
after the skywalk we went down to the esplanade area to walk around to see if we can spot a good place for fireworks tmw!
walking over from Prudential
crossing the bridge from Beacon st to the hatch.
spot an interesting sign
the many food stalls that sell almost the same thing
tried the fried dough. not very nice, oily and hard.
while exploring the place
